21 sessions during Winter and Spring term (No lessons during Spring Break on March 24th)
In the consumable Student Edition, 20 academic vocabulary words are presented per unit. Students will:
- Read new words in the introductory informational text passage including historical nonfiction, newspaper editorial, expository essay, persuasive essay, magazine articles, debates, and more

- Acquire new vocabulary through eight exercises including definitions, sentence completion, synonyms and antonyms, word study, writing and more

- Encounter the words in excerpts from classic literature

There are 15 units in this book. With Prefix, Suffix, Synonyms, Antonyms, students will learn and review over ~1000 new words in reading interesting articles
